About me

Hello and welcome!

On this page I, Angie, would like to introduce myself briefly: German, Swiss by choice, married to a cool American and mother of two wonderful grown-up children and two adorable grandchildren. I have an inquisitive mind, am creative and enthusiastic about our triune God. When I have understood theoretical principles, the next question is always: How do I implement this in my life? (Though sometimes my discipline is lacking…) I love having eye opening experiences, they are gifts from heaven! It thrills me to get to know God better and to discover how I can apply statements and principles from the Bible in a practical way. The Bible is extremely suitable for everyday life!

With every insight, life becomes clearer. I would like to share and discuss my “bitesize portions of faith” with you. My desire is that I can encourage you to take new steps and lead you to your own eye opening experiences. Through interaction with you I hope to learn a lot more in this process!

The Bible is amazing. But a personal relationship with this God of the Bible is even better. It is stunning, empowering, and life-changing! God is so much closer than we think and so much better than we can imagine. For years I have been walking toward him one step at a time. Again and again I am amazed how much love he is giving me and that he always shows me new, suprising or touching sides of himself. Go to God personally and get to know him, there is nothing more fulfilling! I hope I can inspire you with this blog and encourage you to do so!

My love for design and art are an important part of my life. Originally at home in design, I’m now an artist. A picture is not only perceived by the intellect. An image or a piece of art partially bypasses the mind and touches us in our innermost being, where we cannot get to with simple words. That’s why I always include sketches in the blog posts, which support the core message or express it visually.

Through my husband I found faith in my mid-30s. We have been part of a small free church for many years and are active there; we love the companionship and enjoy the journey together. It would be nice to share experiences with you and read your comments. I’m interested in hearing whether the texts are understandable and relevant, as well as if you disagree or have questions.

God has given all of us a life theme that moves us and which we passionately pursue. Your passion differs from mine and that’s good! If you aren’t already: Be courageous, take your first steps. You are valuable and the world needs you!
